For clients who already have a sales process Emerging Media’s data fits right and increases efficiency. The leads we can generate can be basic or very sophisticated/warm depending on how the client is geared up. With some clients who already have very well developed call centres they only require a with basic information and a small propensity to buy.

For clients without large call centre operations or those looking for high converting leads, typically in excess of 40%, then we can offer them fully developed leads. A fully developed lead is a prospect that is aware of the price, happy to spend in the time frame the client specified and any other criteria such as proximity to a showroom or gym for example. We are happy to work with our clients to develop a lead profile with a high propensity to buy.

We started out in the year 2000, just as the dot-com bubble burst. There was no money around and everyone told us we would fail. Back then we were running our own online retail store with dreams to become greater than Amazon.

Having no online marketing experience, we gave the little capital we had to so-called experts who, in the end, delivered nothing and then pointed to terms in the agreement that said ‘no promises’.

We very quickly learned that they were merely experimenting with our money. That was when we decided to go it alone.

We entered into all types of deals, some that paid off 100 to 1 and some that lost money by the bucket load. By 2004, we had spent in excess of £10 million ($15 million) but had bought something far greater than advertising: we had bought the knowledge of what works and what doesn't in direct marketing, what a great deal looks like, what is definitely a bad deal, and what is just too risky.
